Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School and Day Camp are coming to West Middleton Lutheran Church every June. Visit us again to see the 2012 dates. We've teamed up with Crossways Camping Ministry to provide an exciting VBS style program for the older children and we will be continuing our wonderful program for the pre-school age children.

K-5 Day Camp Program:

Children who have completed grades K-5 will join a Crossways college-aged counselor and a congregational volunteer each day. They’ll play games, learn in Bible Study and worship, do arts and crafts and nature activities, and sing along with their classmates. Making new friends and spending time with old ones top the list.

When is it? Day Camp will be held at WMLC in June.

Who Will Lead It? Volunteers from our congregation, in cooperation with counselors from Crossways Camping Ministries, will lead the program. The counselors are Christian young adults trained and equipped in Bible Study, worship, recreation, and working with children. The counselors are at least 18 years old and are led by a more experienced team leader. The counselors are great Christian role models; they have energy and enthusiasm in bundles.

Who Can Come? Any youth completing K-5th grade can attend Day Camp. Day Camp is open to everyone! You don’t have to be a member of the congregation. Invite your neighbors, your cousins, and friends.

Registration Fee by May 3: $55/first child; $45 thereafter
After May 3: $65/first child; $55 thereafter

Pre-School VBS Program (Ages 3-5):

Main Street Logo Our Pre-school VBS will run in June. It will be a Main Street theme based around some great stories that Jesus told. This will be for the 3-5 year olds who have not yet started Kindergarten. This program is more appropriate for their age and learning style. The Pre-school program day will be from 9-11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday.

At Main Street they will have five exciting sessions based on the parables. Children will learn the skills of gratitude, compassion, forgiveness, grace and faithfulness. They will do this through song, creative activities, and skits.
